Madelyne's first full length musical, Weed Shop the Musical, cowritten with Becker Grumet, opened in 2016 in Los Angeles, California. It ran for an extended 9 week run and was met with an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response. The show was nominated for numerous awards including Best Musical at the NoHo Fringe Festival, and Madelyne was awarded Best Director for her work.

Madelyne worked with Becker Grumet again on Will You Accept This Rose: The Bachelor Parody Musical which premiered as a special Valentine’s Day event at The Three Clubs in Hollywood. The show went on to a completely sold out run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and was lauded by Bachelor fans and contestants alike.

Madelyne has appeared as a guest on many podcasts and routinely performs in storytelling shows around Los Angeles.

Madelyne has been writing for the stage since 2009 when her critically acclaimed Twilight parody, Semi Darkness took the Minnesota Fringe Festival by storm. Lauded with rave reviews, Semi Darkness went on to be the highest grossing show in its venue that year and was rewarded with a packed encore performance at the end of the festival.

Madelyne went on to write several other comedic musicals for the Twin Cities theatre circuit, including Damn You Auto Caress, which bemoaned the pitfalls of smartphone technology, and Apocalypticality, a choose-your-own-adventure style show that tackled the 2012 apocalypse.
